Made it past Xmas
What a great time of year. The Christmas rush has passed, and the last week of 2010 is underway. I spent Xmas day with my awesome family, eating, drinking, falling into a food coma, then waking up and eating some more.
The following day was spent with 14 of my closest Iron buddies on a 3 hour hilly bike ride followed by a 1 hour hilly run and capped off with 30 minutes of core strength in a BART parking lot. Good times!
This is the time of the year for reflection. I like to look back and appreciate the fortunate life that I live. 2010 was a good year spent doing things I love with people that I love to do things with. So many highlights this year- I completed an Ironman, The Giants won the World Series, among other less global, but equally significant occurances.
I'm looking forward to what 2011 brings. Another Ironman perhaps? Oh yes, for sure. And then some.
